Toby, so sorry you are having trouble.. What droid phone or device do you have? And what version of Android are you running?. If you can upgrade to 2.3 or higher you should be able to get it to work..

The parent cue app does not play the videos on my droid. Are you fixing the problem? Or is there steps that I can try to get them to start playing?

Thank you.

What a great article!!! As a retired teacher, I can vouch for the importance of installing self-control in your child. Be consistent in your efforts and it will dramatically make a difference in tthe life of your child.

Great thoughts on the difference between character and external requirements.

Of course it goes without saying...(which means it probably should be said)that as parents we should be modeling good online character as well. Showing self control in terms of what we view online, how much time we spend online...etc.

In our high tech world it can be hard to unplug. Sometimes I feels as if I go from one device to another throughout the day. And while I may be communicating with people I am reminded that this kind of relationship building is what Shane Hipps calls "cotton candy community". It tastes good in the moment, but nothing can replace face to face contact.

One last thought...when our kids fail...and they will...show them grace...embarrasment, guilt and shame will only cause them to hide...and these have no place in the kingdom of God.

Thanks for challenging me!
